Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Karahi

Boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs 1 lb
Medium onions 2
Large bell peppers (any color) 2
Medium tomatoes 2
Green chilies 2-3
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Garlic paste 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Chopped cilantro (optional)

1. Soak the chicken in curd, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, garam masala powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt for 15-20 minutes.


2. Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.


3. Add the onion and cook until golden (5-6 minutes).


4. Add the bell pepper and cook until soft (4-5 minutes).


5. Add tomatoes, green beans and chicken sauce. Cook until chicken is tender (10-12 minutes).


6. Stir in the lemon juice and adjust the seasonings.


7. Garnish with chopped cilantro (if using).
